Ayurveda means "the science of life" (ayur means "life" and veda means "science" in Sanskrit). Ayurveda is a discipline of the upaveda or "auxiliary knowledge" in Vedic tradition. Ayurveda has its prime origin from Atharva-Veda and apart as a supplement of the Rig-Veda. Dhanvantari is worshipped as the God of Ayurveda. The aim of this system is to prevent illness¸ heal the sick and preserve life. The Ayurveda has its origins from the India and extended its wings in various parts of the world. Ayurveda was taught in Gurukula system in ancient days, which is now been evolved in to under graduate & post graduate courses from Institutions.

 

Our Aim

 

Wisdom of Ayurved is sacred and brought in humanity through tradition of Guru – Shishya parampara for welfare of all the living beings. The necessity of Ayurveda has grown today; more than any time in history and is across the globe. We have thus taken up an accountable task of continuing the Guru – Shishya Parampara in spreading knowledge of Ayurveda. As accountable and sacred; we are very sincere about the task in hand. We are making sure that we impart the quality education in Ayurveda along with skill development and personality development of the students; necessary for excellence in field of Ayurved.The environment of the College Campus also impacts the process of education and training. Thus; we have meticulously constructed our infrastructure in a way that a positive and energetic ambience is generated that boosts morale and energy of students as well as teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute.

 

Objectives of Ayurveda

Ø  To excel in Ayurveda Education through trained and experienced faculty and teaching aids such as projector, models, study materials.

Ø  To excel in Clinical Services through trained and experienced clinicians and diagnostic technology as well as quality medicines.

Ø  To support and promote research in field of Ayurveda.

Ø  To support and promote cultivation of herbs, manufacturing of medicines, diagnosis and treatment through basic principles of Ayurveda.

Ø  To spread awareness of Ayurveda diet and regimen through students, staff and masses.

 

Courses Offered

 1.     Ayurvedic Nursing (Paricharika)

   Duration: 3 1/2 Years

 

    Eligibility: 12th with PCB 

 

   Affiliated and Recognized by Bhartiya Chikitsa Parishad

 


2.   Diploma in Ayurvedic Bhaishjya kalpak (Ayurvedic Phamacist)

     

     Duration: Two Year

 

     Eligibility: 12th with PCB 

 

    Affiliated and Recognized by Bhartiya Chikitsa Parishad

  

  3.     Diploma in Panchakarma (Panchakarma Technician)

 

     Duration: One Year

 

     Eligibility: 12th with PCB
